Machine Process Introduction
1Collection of Casings: Worn tyres are collected to select suitable casings for tyre retread.
2Initial Inspection: Each tyre received is subjected to a rigorous visual inspection using non-destructive sophisticated inspection machines.
3Buffing: Old tread is mechanically removed on high-speed buffers, turning the tyre to an exact specified diameter and radius.
4Section Repairs & Skiving: Surface injuries are treated using professional grinding and patching tools.
5Cementing and Filling: Injuries are cleaned with carbide cutters and filled with vulcanizing rubber stems to maximize tyre life.
6Building - Tread Rubber: A thin layer of cushion gum is wrapped around the crown, and pre-cured tread rubber is applied via the building machine.
7Enveloping & Rim Mounting: Tyres are fitted with envelopes and rims to prepare for the curing process.
8Curing by Chamber: The tyre is placed in a curing chamber where the tread adheres to the casing through vulcanization.
9Final Inspection: Ensures only tyres meeting industry quality standards leave the plant, often finished with a light coat of black tyre paint.
